Administrative Support III
Your Opportunity:
Henwood Treatment Centre's administrative support team is seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment to join our team. As part of the admissions admin support team, you would be responsible for supporting the team in managing applications for substance use treatment and admissions. For this aspect of the role, you will need to have excellent verbal communication skills, both with colleagues and clients as you will often be the first point of contact for individuals seeking to attend treatment. You must have excellent computer skills as you will need to support waitlist management across multiple systems. As a member of the general support team for the site, you will be responsible for managing a multi-line phone system, supporting clients with various needs at the administrative desk, general clerical duties and support with staffing. For both aspects of the role, you will need to be highly flexible, able to multi-task, and have strong ability to prioritize tasks. Please note that Henwood is located in North East Edmonton and public transportation to the facility is limited.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:At least 3 years of admin support experience in a health care setting is required. Physical requirements of the position include the ability to sit/stand and walk through a large centre as well as use stairs, there is no elevator access. It is also a requirement that the incumbent be physically able to respond to behavioural/clinical emergencies that may occur anywhere in the building. Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft office. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are a must. Must be able to work stat holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with individuals who have mental health and substance use concerns is preferred. Expertise in the use of Connect Care, particularly in referral workqueue management, is a significant asset.
