Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing leadership experience and 5 years of psychiatric experience in a Seniors Mental Health acute inpatient setting is required. Minimum 3 years of experience developing, implementing and reviewing care plans for seniors with complex mental health and physical comorbidities as they work to discharge to the level of care appropriate to their needs. Good working knowledge of dementia and mood thought disorders, the Mental Health Act, Guardianship and Trustee Act and Protection for Persons in Care Act is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience with Connect Care.
