Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years experience working with children under the age of 18 with complex needs. Experience with mental health assessment, case conceptualization, treatment of complex multi-faceted cases and successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team. Required training in developmental, attachment, and trauma therapy with proven ability to apply these in professional practice with children experiencing mental health challenges. Knowledge and experience to use and apply DSM-5. Demonstrates an ability to manage workload and complete assessments, documentation and consultation sin a timely, effective manner within a fact-paces environment. Proven ability to navigate working collaboratively alongside a multi-disciplinary team: this includes incorporation of communication skills, conflict management skills and effect setting professional boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in an outpatient setting. Completion of Brain Story Certification and Collaborative Problem Solving. Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
