Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor or Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and registration with ACOT are required - registration to be maintained through duration of employment. Current CPR (BLS Level C – Health Care Provider). NCI - Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. Cultural competence and a commitment to ongoing reconciliation. Flexibility, openness, and a desire to be a strong team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years' experience in a community mental health and/or rehabilitation setting preferred. Excellent communication and self-management skills. Knowledge of concurrent capable practice. Knowledge of both recovery-oriented care and principles. Experience working with multiple partners is an asset. Extensive knowledge of community vocational and education programs in the Edmonton area.
