Master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:BLS required. NVCI or immediate registration into the next available course is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of intimate partner violence, inappropriate sexual behaviours, general offences, and legal dispositions will all be considered an asset. As will a strong background in providing outpatient treatment in the context of both individual and group settings with a forensic population. Familiarity with electronic medical records (Connect Care), virtual therapy platforms (Zoom), and comfort with Microsoft Office programs will all be considered assets.
