Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Required are strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Basic Cardiac Life Support – health Care Provider (BCLS – HLP) required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in rehabilitation setting for individuals with serious mental illnesses desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in facilitating psycho-educational groups/workshops an asset.
