Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join the Recovery Alberta Adult Community Services - Mental Health & Addiction team as a Social Worker II. This position focuses on providing comprehensive support to complex clients experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to deliver client-centered care that promotes recovery, resilience, and community integration. Your work will include the completion of comprehensive assessments, development of individualized goal focused treatment plans, and provision of case management for clients with complex mental health and addiction needs.
Description:
As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:2 years' experience working directly within the areas of mental health and addiction Must have approval or be in process of obtaining approval for restricted psychosocial interventions.
Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
