Master's degree in Psychology; or master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; or master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; or master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Master’s in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy; or RN/RPN with mental health training Active registration with relevant Alberta college (CARNA, CRPNA, ACOT, CAP, ACSW) Minimum 3 years’ experience in addiction and mental health, including crisis intervention with children and youth (community setting preferred) Formal training in triage, intervention, and stabilization for children and youth
Preferred Qualifications:3–5 years clinical experience with children, youth, and families (community mental health preferred) Training in a therapeutic modality (e.g., CBT, Solution-Focused, Narrative, MI, Family Systems) Experience in suicide risk assessment and intervention Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification Connect Care experience preferred
